MOORHEAD — Minnesota State University Moorhead is offering direct admission to its university for members of the Phi Theta Kappa honor society.
The university is the first in Minnesota to offer direct admission to PTK students, meaning they do not need to complete an admissions application, MSUM said in a release.
Instead, those students complete an online form and receive a transfer evaluation.
PTK, the oldest honor society in the United States, commends students at associate degree-granting colleges for outstanding academic achievement.
MSUM offers more than 40 transfer pathways for students with an associate’s degree to pursue a bachelor’s degree, the university said.
Every PTK member who transfers into an undergraduate program at MSUM is eligible for a one-time, $500 scholarship
