CARBONDALE, Ill. (KFVS) - A ribbon cutting and celebration will mark the 50th anniversary of a well-known southern Illinois pizza place.
The Carbondale Chamber of Commerce will host a ribbon cutting and Business After Hours on Thursday, August 21 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Quatro’s Deep Pan Pizza, 218 W. Freeman Street.
“Quatros is more than just a pizza place — it’s a part of our city’s identity,” William Lo, executive director of the Carbondale Chamber of Commerce, said in a news release. “For 50 years, they’ve brought people together around great food, and we’re excited to honor their legacy.”
The city will also present an official proclamation recognizing Quatro’s contributions to the city. It will be read during the Carbondale City Council meeting on Tuesday, Aug. 26 at 6 p.m.
