AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - A Randall County Sheriff’s Office deputy is facing charges for DWI.

According to a news release, Sergeant Logan Landrum was arrested by the Department of Public Safety for DWI.

He is currently on administrative leave from the Randall County Sheriff’s Office, pending the DPS investigation.

According to documents obtained by the 10 Investigates Team, this is not the first time Landrum has been disciplined for conduct violations regarding alcohol.

In 2022, former Amarillo Police Department Chief Martin Birkenfeld issued Landrum a two-day suspension without pay.

According to the suspension paperwork, Landrum was attending a conference in South Padre Island when he consumed alcoholic beverages while in a class.
