LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Get your cape ready, the 2025 CASA Superhero Run will be taking place at the end of this month!

On August 23rd at WinStar Farm, you’ll find superheroes and princesses galore. The CASA Superhero Run raises thousands for CASA of Lexington.

“The CASA superhero run is a chance for all people to come out and support the work we’re doing with abused and neglected children,” said CASA of Lexington Executive Director Melynda Jamison. “But we say all kids need heroes, abused kids need superheroes.”

A CASA, or court-appointed special advocate, truly is a superhero. They volunteer their time to get to know these children so they can advocate for them in the courtroom and make a difference in their lives.
