BEDFORD— Lincoln Elementary School has been named a “Family Friendly School” by the Indiana Department of Education, one of only 45 schools statewide to earn the honor this year.

The designation recognizes schools that excel in involving families in their children’s education, creating welcoming environments, and building strong community partnerships. According to the IDOE, the program highlights schools that demonstrate a commitment to engaging parents, guardians, and caregivers as active partners in student success.
