EAST WILLIAMSBURG — THE RED BULL Batalla U.S. National Final, the nation’s largest Spanish-language rap contest, is set to land at Brooklyn Steel on Sept. 26, reports TimeOut New York , bringing 16 top freestyle MCs to compete entirely en español for the national crown and a berth at April’s World Final in Chile.

Judges include 2024 U.S. finalist Freites, 2007 world runner-up Jay-Co, and Tito Yang, the first Puerto Rican MC to reach a World Final. Hosts Racso White Lion and Sayonara will emcee, with DJ Popeye on decks. The bracket features returning champ AdonysX, two-time winner Reverse, Miami upstart Sourius and Denver’s Desnivela, who could become the first female U.S. champion.
