HOLLIDAYSBURG, Pa. (WTAJ) — The Central Pennsylvania Food Bank is getting a major boost in its fight against hunger after receiving a $100,000 donation from M&T Bank to support its Hollidaysburg Healthy Hub.

The Healthy Hub, which began operations in spring 2025, serves more than 379,000 people across the Allegheny Mountain region, an area where rural hunger is widespread and one in five children faces food insecurity. The facility distributes healthy, nutritious food to communities where more than 70,000 residents struggled with hunger in 2023.
