A Bangor man was arrested three days after allegedly assaulting a woman on the sidewalk outside a downtown business.

Police were called to the business shortly before 7 p.m. Monday after a person reviewing security footage saw the incident, Bangor Sgt. Jason McAmbley said in a news release.

Officers recognized the man in the video as Anthony Sharp, 34, of Bangor, McAmbley said. Police found Sharp on Thursday afternoon, arrested him and brought him to jail, where he was charged with domestic violence assault.
