FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (WJW) — After Browns rookie running back Quinshon Judkins was arrested in Fort Lauderdale last month on domestic battery charges, prosecutors have decided to not move forward with official charges, FOX 8 has learned.
Andy Slater of Fox Sports 640 was one of the first to break the news and said on X "The decision was based on several factors including late reporting of the alleged incident to police, no surveillance video, and no independent witnesses."
The move means Judkins could soon come back to the Browns. However, the NFL is still holding its own investigation into the incident and released the following statement to FOX 8: "We have been following developments in the matter which remains under review."
Judkins was taken into custody July 12, but soon released
