CLEVELAND (WJW) -- Cleveland City Councilman Joe Jones is facing a possible censure over allegations he bullied and harassed other employees, creating a hostile work environment.
According to an independent investigation, Jones is accused of threatening to kill a city employee multiple times in May. That employee didn't file an official police report, but they did report the alleged threat to the FBI.
Jones is also accused of sitting next to another employee during a Cleveland City Council meeting, despite receiving previous instructions prohibiting contact with that person due to alleged "prior incidents" between them.
In a letter to Jones, Cleveland City Council President Blaine Griffin stated that the council will introduce a formal censure resolution against him in September.
