KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — If you're in the market to buy a home right now, things are changing. 6 News took a close look at the current housing market and one homebuyer's story.

We are seeing things slowly get back to normal for buyers now post-pandemic. The East Tennessee Realtors Association said, as of their last monthly report this summer, there has been a 13% increase in home sales from this point last year.

Sales are slowly but steadily climbing and more homes are hitting the market, but not at low prices.
