ST. CLOUD, Minn. — Amid the hum of assembly lines at the New Flyer bus plant in St. Cloud, Minnesota, on Thursday, Aug. 14, Rep. Tom Emmer, R-Minnesota, and the head of the Federal Transit Administration applauded the Trump administration's tax cuts.

Marcus Molinaro toured the plant alongside Emmer 10 days after being sworn in as transit administrator. Molinaro was confirmed by the U.S. Senate 71-23 on Saturday, Aug. 2. It was Emmer's third visit to New Flyer.

New Flyer officials, including president and CEO Paul Soubry, Vice President of Facilities Ben Wood and St. Cloud Plant Manager Richard Leonard, led the tour, walking Emmer and Molinaro through each step of the bus manufacturing process.
