ALLENWOOD — A proposed data center at Union County’s Great Stream Commons industrial park has been scrapped after the developer terminated its purchase agreement.

Union County on Thursday learned that Data Centric LLC, of New York City, terminated its agreement to purchase a 37-acre lot at the Great Stream Commons in Gregg Township near Allenwood. The commissioners approved an agreement in May with commercial real estate and investment firm KSR Capital, of New York City, to develop the property as a data center.
