SUNBURY — A Sunbury man is jailed and faces felony aggravated assault charges after an incident in the city Wednesday that caused some Northumberland County buildings to be put on lockdown.

Malik Smith, 29, of Market Street, was arrested Thursday and charged after Sunbury police say they were dispatched to the 200 block of Race Street for a man with a gun at around 1:25 p.m. Wednesday.
