WILKES-BARRE, Pa. — Crews are back on Horton Street in Wilkes-Barre, working to fix stormwater pipes just a day after a downpour turned this construction site into a flood zone.

As the rain poured down, the huge holes on Horton Street filled up fast.

"Gallons and gallons and gallons of water." Roberto Valentin lives next to the work being done on the aging stormwater pipes that burst back in June, collapsing the road in two separate areas.

Valentin says his home stayed dry during this latest storm, but all that water poses a bigger worry for the neighborhood, "This whole street, I think it's hollow on the bottom because, you know what I mean, all that water has to go somewhere," he said.
