University of Nebraska system president Jeffrey Gold said that even though plans to renovate Memorial Stadium are on pause , the project is critical to continue.
Gold said it just has to be the right time for the project.
He added it is important to pay attention to the sensitivity of everything that is going on, whether that's the $27.5 million in cuts the University of Nebraska-Lincoln has to make by the end of the year or the time of year it's presented to the regents.
