MISSION, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Two adults and one minor were arrested in connection with a shooting that left one person in the hospital.

Deputies responded to the shooting on Wednesday afternoon at the 6900 block of Minnesota Rd. in rural Mission.

At the scene, responding deputies learned that a 23-year-old man had been shot in the shoulder and robbed by the three suspects.

The victim was transported to a hospital by a family member, where he continues to recover.

The Hidalgo County Sheriff's Office and the Mission Police Department joined to identify the suspect vehicle and the people involved.

The two adult men face charges of aggravated robbery. The minor has also been charged in this case and remains in custody at the Hidalgo County Juvenile Center.
