HARLINGEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The Texas State Technical College Harlingen Campus held a building launch and program preview recruitment event on Thursday.

The event showcased the college's new Transportation Technologies Center, which will house the Automotive and Diesel Equipment programs.

"With the new building, we do have a lot of new technologies. New equipment and new training materials. It's going to be great because we're going to be able to house, recruit, and enroll more students. A bigger facility means more students. We're going to be looking at offering evening courses as well," said Miguel Zoleta, program team lead for Automotive and Diesel Technology Programs.
