After taking on the Big Apple, Ghostface appears to be headed back to the suburbs, according to one returning Scream star.

Mason Gooding , who reprises his role as Chad Meeks-Martin in Scream 7 , recently described the upcoming installment as “domestic,” as well as “homely and unconventional,” following the Scream VI (2023) location change from Woodsboro to New York City.

Given that Joel McHale and Isabel May have been cast as Sidney Prescott’s ( Neve Campbell ) husband and daughter, this checks out. But since the franchise’s OG ‘final girl’ has been established to be living far from Woodsboro, we can likely expect to find her in a different suburbia.
