STANVILLE, Ky. (WYMT) - The Betsy Layne Bobcats are coming off a 9-4 season as they head into their 2025 campaign.

This year marks head coach Jarred Jarrell’s fifth year at the helm of the program.

The Bobcats lost a lot of offensive production with Andrew McCutcheon graduating.

McCutcheon was a top-five rusher in the state last season and a big contributor with 2,190 rush yards, 220 receiving yards, and 34 touchdowns in 2024.

Betsy Layne returns senior wide receiver and defensive back Isaiah Allen, who was the teams leader in receiving yards with 541. On the defensive side of the football, Allen had 67 total tackles.

The Bobcats want to continue to compete for the district title this season.
