LARGO, Fla. — Largo Fire Rescue is marking more than one milestone by opening a new station and welcoming a new chief.

Crews recently moved into the new Station 39 located on Jackson Street.
The space includes cancer prevention and sleep preservation measures. A state-of-the-art bunker gear room is stocked with specialized equipment to help remove cancer-causing contaminants.
“Once
