WACO, Texas — A Waco man has been indicted for murder in the case of a shooting in May 2025 .
According to court documents, Jarvis Dominique Howard was indicted on a charge of murder by a McLennan County Grand Jury on Thursday, Aug. 14.
Waco Police stated Howard was arrested on May 22 and charged with murder in the homicide investigation of 30-year-old Jeromy Munoz.
According to police, officers were called to an address on East Waco Drive to a report of gunfire around 7:17 p.m. on May 15. When officers arrived, they reportedly found a man, identified as Munoz, dead at the scene.
A second victim, a 24-year-old man, was also found on the scene, according to police. The second victim was reportedly taken to a nearby hospital.
Howard is currently being held in the McLennan County Jail.
