SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — Springfield City Council Zone 3 residents should place storm debris at the curb by 7 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 18, for a zone-wide pickup by Public Works scheduled for Aug. 18–22.

Debris collection in Zone 1 will also continue through Aug. 22.

Since the debris sweeps began on Aug. 11, Springfield Public Works has removed an estimated 65% of piles in Zone 1 — more than 2,240 cubic yards in total.

Residents do not need to register for debris pickup. They are simply asked to place organic debris only at the curb — without blocking sidewalks, driveways, or drainage ditches — before their City Council Zone’s scheduled collection dates.

Zone 1: Aug. 11–15 (continuing through Aug. 22)

Zone 3: Aug. 18–22

Zone 2: Aug. 25–29

Zone 4: Sept. 1–5
