GOSHEN – The Middletown man accused of attempted murder in the violent stabbing of another man in Middletown on August 3, has been indicted.

In addition to that charge, Reggie Florence, 28, was also charged with two counts of armed assault.

As alleged, Florence began to communicate with the victim on a dating app. The victim’s gender was not revealed.

Soon after, Florence lured the victim to his residence in the City of Middletown where he told the victim to lie down on the floor and that he would give that person a massage. After beginning the massage, Florence repeatedly stabbed the victim in the back of the neck with a large kitchen knife and as the victim attempted to fight back, Florence continued stabbing the victim about the body, including the eyes and torso.
