SHREVEPORT, La. – Funeral services have been set for a Shreveport teacher who was killed Aug. 7 in a train-car crash in Coushatta.

Sha’Talma “Moolie” Guye, 28, died when she drove into the path of a train at the Wilkinson crossing.

Visitation for Guye is set for 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday at Heavenly Gates Funeral Home in Shreveport. A celebration of life service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the sanctuary of Springville Baptist Church in Coushatta, with the burial following at Springville Cemetery.

Guye taught middle school math at Walnut Hill Elementary.
