HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - Good Thursday evening everyone! Temperatures continue to climb higher this week as we saw a lot more 90s on the board today. Unfortunately, it gets worse as we head into the weekend. You’ll definitely be looking for something “Kool” to escape the heat.

Warm and humid conditions will certainly stick around this evening into the overnight. Some folks may see some rain to cool things off this evening. The best chance will be in western parts of the state as thunderstorms move off High Plains into the Panhandle this evening. These will push eastward into western and northwestern parts of Local4 area this evening. These will eventually weaken the farther east that they go. Isolated severe storms will be possible for parts of the Sandhills southward into Southwest Nebras
