EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - The House of Lecter and the Old Catacombs announced new owners today on its official Facebook account.

Officials say owner and founders of Gore Galore Kevin Stich and Kevin Alvey are the new owners of the two haunted houses.

They say this is after longtime owner and creator Phillip Wolter passed away back in December 2024.

The men say they are ready to help preserve the legacy of the two spooky haunts.

In their Facebook post, Stich and Alvey announced future improvements including a new storyline, props from Gore Galore and an overhaul to costuming, makeup and masks.

They say doors will open in late September, and further details will be posted on their website.
