A LGBTQ+ resource center in Bell has been experiencing a new – and gross – type of attack: Someone has been tossing bags filled with dog poop at the center before it opens.

Officials with Mi SELA showed NBC Los Angeles over 10 doo doo bags that were thrown at the center overnight, forcing center employees to do a full sweep of the awning.

“I smelled really bad yesterday,” Sanya Lojero, Mi SELA’s program manager, said. “It was not a pretty sight whatsoever. I had to get up on the ladder and go take it down.”

Lojero said she and other employees have been checking cameras, but every time they repositioned the surveillance devices, the poop-throwing aggressor seemed to have figured out that he or she was being filmed.
