A man accused of throwing chunks of concrete at officers during a June immigration enforcement operation in Paramount pleaded not guilty Thursday to a federal charge.

Elpidio Reyna , 39, of Compton faces four felony counts of assault on a federal officer, court papers show. A trial was tentatively set for Sept. 30 in L.A. federal court.

The altercation, which landed Reyna on the FBI's "Most Wanted list," led to his arrest July 23 at the U.S.-Mexico border in a negotiated surrender, the FBI stated.
