The Texas Tech football team will be sporting some new adidas uniforms when the Red Raiders host Kansas on Oct. 11 in Jones AT&T Stadium.

Texas Tech is one of seven new uniforms unveiled by adidas on Thursday. Other schools getting uniforms include Kansas, Louisville, Nebraska, NC State, Mississippi State, and Grambling State. Teams will sport their new attire throughout the season, with Texas Tech's turn coming against the Jayhawks for its homecoming game.

According to the news release, "this uniform blends historic elements with a modern touch. A gold "100-Year" label sits on the back neck, while the front collar features laser-perforated "1925" and "2025."

The jersey will be on sale Aug. 15 on adidas.com as well as Fanatics, Rally House, Follett, and other local retailers.
