OPELIKA, Ala. (WTVM) - The Alabama Direct Admission Initiative is being rolled out this month in Alabama, aiming to simplify the application process for colleges and universities.

If students participate in this program, they can be sought out by over 200 colleges and universities.

Nonprofit Alabama Possible started the program, giving students the opportunity to be seen by colleges across Alabama and even in other states with no application fee.

“We see you, we hear you, and we want to make sure that we can remove barriers for you,” said “And that’s what the Alabama Direct Admission campaign is all about,” said Executive Director of Alabama Possible Chandra Scott.

Alabama Direct Admission is a free program. High school seniors will create a “Match Profile” on the nonprofit’s website.
