A second Sheetz gas station could soon be moving into the city of Toledo.

On Thursday, Alex Siwicki, a representative for Sheetz, asked the Toledo City Plan Commission to approve a special use permit for the gas station.

The proposed store would be at 5765 Secor Rd., the site of a former Rite Aid. The property is located southwest of the intersection of Alexis and Secor roads.

The site is expected to have two access drives, one from Alexis Road and one from Secor Road.

Not just a fuel station, Sheetz is also a convenience store and restaurant. The gas station is situated to the west of the building, with a drive-through window at the rear of the building. The plan staff’s analysis depicts 50 parking spaces, with 38 marked spaces and 12 gas pump spaces.
