Closed-door meeting to address legal impact of sitting in on IEPs

The Peoria Unified School District governing board will discuss in private Aug. 18 the possibility of board member involvement in Individualized Education Program meetings.

Individualized Education Program, more commonly known as an IEP, is a legally mandated document that outlines the educational plan for students with disabilities. It details specific special education services, supports, and accommodations tailored to meet the individual needs of each student.
