Six United States Army helicopters made a pit stop at Whitehorse’s airport on Aug. 13.
On the afternoon of Aug. 13, four AH-64 Apache attack helicopters and two UH-60 Blackhawks descended into Erik Nielsen Whitehorse International Airport. Flightradar24.com tracking for the Blackhawks shows stops earlier in the week for the helicopters in Fort Nelson, Fort St. John, Prince George, Vernon and Kelowna, British Columbia dating back to Aug. 10.
The U.S. Army did not respond to the News ’ questions by publication.
