Team Yukon has put forth a valiant effort but has struggled against the size and scale of Canada’s more populous provinces, with athletes yet to secure any medals in the first week of the 2025 Canada Summer Games.
Yukon currently ranks among the bottom three overall, alongside Nunavut and the Northwest Territories. None of the territories have earned medals from events held Aug. 10 to 15.
Although Team Yukon has historically placed near the bottom of the overall standings, its athletes continue to compete across multiple disciplines.
Yukon athletes are participating in athletics, basketball, beach volleyball, canoe/kayak, cycling, golf, rugby sevens, sailing, soccer, softball, swimming, volleyball and wrestling at this year's Games.
