FAIRLEA, WV (WVNS) - There is certainly a lot to see and do at the fair, but for those who want to learn something - you need to check out the WVU building.

The WVU building at the State Fair of West Virginia is full of all kinds of super interactive and informative displays.

You can learn about electric cars, kitchen safety, or even walk through the inside of an inflatable brain.

Some of the coolest science fair projects from across the state are on display during fair week, including one by Morgantown native Alex Orrego, who managed to create electricity using the magnetic field of a tire rolling on asphalt.
