FAIRLEA, WV (WVNS) - There are lots of sights to see at the State Fair of West Virginia, but perhaps the most natural beauty can be found at the state fair's famous flower show.

The state fair flower show is serious business - and serious competition!

More than 4,600 entries were submitted for judging in the state fair flower show in 2025.

They have competitions for nearly everything you could possibly imagine. A flower hat making contest, a door decorating contest, a contest for who can grow the best garden inside of a wagon - all kinds of beautiful and amazing displays that take your breath away.

The superintendent of the flower show said they wanted to really go all out for the 100th state fair of West Virginia, and gardeners across the state delivered in a big way.
