PITTSBURGH -- The Pittsburgh Steelers’ wide receiver position remains up in the air, but one player has emerged throughout the last four weeks of training camp. That would be second-year Steeler Scotty Miller , who joined the team last season and re-signed with them this offseason.

Miller had just five receptions for 69 yards and was released before their playoff game against the Baltimore Ravens . He was later re-signed to the practice squad. So, that forced him to become an afterthought, but not anymore.

Head coach Mike Tomlin has shouted him out a few times, and assistant general manager Andy Weidl brought Miller up unprompted in an answer on Thursday, stating how much he stood.
