BALDWIN, Maine — A Denmark man was seriously injured Thursday in a two-vehicle crash in Baldwin, according to the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office.

The crash happened about 5:10 p.m. near 1230 Pequawket Trail, the sheriff's office said in a news release.

Investigators said a 2019 Ford F-150 driven by 21-year-old Ashtin Harding of Denmark was attempting to pass a 2013 Subaru Outback driven by 20-year-old Baldwin man when the vehicles made contact. Both drivers reportedly lost control, and their vehicles left the roadway.

Harding suffered life-threatening injuries and was flown by LifeFlight to Maine Medical Center. The other driver was not injured.
