LUFKIN, Texas — One person is in custody after a Lufkin man was killed in a shooting Thursday night.

According to police, the shooting happened around 4:30 p.m. in the 3000 block of South First Street. The suspect is in custody and officers don't believe anyone else is involved.

The names of the suspect and the victim will not be released until Friday.
