Trevor Megill wasn't joking about getting shirts.

A few weeks ago, the Milwaukee Brewers closer told USA TODAY in a story during the team's rise to the top of the National League and soon all of baseball that they would start wearing 'Power of Friendship' T-Shirts.

That way, Megill said "people can start recognizing who we are. I mean, people were freaking out last year when we won 93 games. Maybe they didn’t think we could do it again."

Well, the Brewers are, in fact, doing it again and then some. They are on pace for over 100 wins, which would easily set a franchise record.

This week the never-can-lose Brewers became the second National League team in MLB history and first in 90 years to have two separate 11-game winning streaks or more in one season.
