ANDOVER, Mass. —
Trevor Pouliot remembered nearly losing his younger brother, Tyler.
"I didn't know what was happening until I saw his blue face and my dad was losing his mind, and I shut down," he said.
It was August of 2019 when Tyler nearly drowned in a neighbor's swimming pool.
He was saved through the combined efforts of a young woman who pulled him out, his father who performed CPR, and first responders who rushed to the scene.
Prior to going under the water, Tyler had been playing on a raft. He told his father Steve that suddenly, he felt 'off.'
"He tried to reach for the raft, and he couldn't," Steve said. "He tried to reach for the side of the pool, and he couldn't, and he tried to yell, and he said no sound came out. He said his arms and his legs wouldn't work."
