WILLIAMSPORT, P.A. (Dakota News Now) - The Sioux Falls Little League team took on Pennsylvania on Thursday in the Little League World Series.

It was a day of excitement and anticipation.

Each year, Williamsport becomes the center of the baseball universe.

In four out of the last eight years, Sioux Falls has starred in the festivities, but while they’ve been here, it’s still a new group of kids and coaches, experiencing this for the first time.

“It’s like unexplainable. I mean, it just feels so good to be here,” said 2nd baseman and outfielder Will Oakley.

Players like Oakley are thrilled to be here, take part in some of the World Series traditions and meet friends from around the world.

They might need to translate words, but they all speak one language: baseball.
