HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) -- A mother and her boyfriend have been arrested in connection to the death of a 10 month old baby.

A release from the Kentucky State Police says the mother of the baby and her boyfriend have been arrested following the death of the infant. Officials with KSP say foul play is involved. On August 3 KSP was contacted regarding the baby's death in Earlington. Troopers say the Hopkins County Coroner pounced the baby dead inside the caretakers' residence.

The mother was identified as 27-year-old Samantha Stagner. Dayton Mason, 29-years-old, was identified as her boyfriend. On Thursday, Stagner and Mason were both arrested and are now being held in the Hopkins County Jail.
