Columbia Police have arrested two Columbia men in connection to a December 2017 robbery and homicide.
According to a news release, police arrested David Adams, 44, and Julius Cureton, 37 on Thursday for the murder of Augustus Roberts, of Columbia.
Investigators said they believe the home invasion was drug-related and that the home was targeted by the suspects.
Adams and Cureton were each arrested on charges of second-degree murder, first-degree robbery, first-degree burglary, armed criminal action, unlawful use of a weapon, and unlawful possession of a weapon, according to CPD.
Police said Adams was arrested in the 3000 block of Paris Road, and Cureton was arrested in the area of Rolling Hills Road and Pride Mountain Drive.
