SOUTH DAKOTA (KCAU) — The race for South Dakota's Secretary of State in 2026 has started heating up. Terrence Davis, 39, recently announced his campaign bid.
Running as a democrat, Davis is hoping to get his party's nomination to run in the general election next year. He's a former state trooper in South Dakota and also served as a state trooper in the state of Tennessee.
Davis currently works at a legal services company in Sioux Falls. He says he wants to lead the Secretary of State's office with transparency, accountability, and service.
