WASHINGTON -- As the Nationals continue to develop and evaluate their young talent, they designated one of their most veteran players for assignment.
Washington DFA’d first baseman Nathaniel Lowe to make room for the return of outfielder Dylan Crews , who was reinstated from the 60-day injured list (left oblique strain) before the Nats claimed a 3-2 win over the Phillies on Thursday at Nationals Park.
