SILVERTON, Ohio —

Three people wanted for questioning in connection with two shootings in the Cincinnati area were taken into custody after a pursuit on Thursday evening.

It began Thursday evening, when units with the Sharonville Police Department attempted to pull over a silver Ford Explorer in the 11700 block of Lebanon Road. According to police, the suspects fled. Advertisement

The chase ended roughly 15 minutes later in Silverton, when the car suffered engine failure, caught fire and the suspects ran out of the car. They were taken into custody shortly after.

The car was wanted in connection with two shootings in the city of Cincinnati, Sharonville police said. No further details were released on the shootings.
