HERMITAGE - A Farrell man has been sentenced after pleading guilty to criminal mischief and harassment for vandalizing the office of Congressman Mike Kelly, located in Hermitage.
46-year-old Joe Lemons is sentenced to 2 years of probation and must pay both a fine and the cost of the repairs for the damaged office.
Lemons painted several angry messages onto the front windows of Kelly's office, reading "a** kisser liar," "child rape," "racism," "cover-up," and "mental illness is not a crime." He also fliers on the windows with similar messaging.
The day after the graffiti was found, Lemons's vehicle was found outside the hermitage Applebees with a white step stool and a bottle of red paint inside.
