As we head into the ides of August and watch the moon wane, we can expect temperatures in the 90s this weekend, which is downright chilly for the north valley.
The weekend will have a little something for indoors, a little something for outdoors and maybe even a sweet treat.
Those up on the ridge will be treated with the Annual Community Celebration at the Paradise Community Park, or the “Train Park” as we used to call it on account of there being a train car, a train museum and a bike path that used to be a railway.
Music will be provided by the Kelly Twin Brothers who will go at it with dueling pianos. Food trucks will line the park and dessert will be provided for free.
The event starts at 6:30 p.m. Friday and is free to the public on the ridge as well as anyone else who wants to he
